Fed: Cheerleader's to be banned from baring midriff
Cheerleaders have been told not to bare their midriffs .. with their governing body
fearing it might be encouraging anorexia.
News Limited newspapers say Gymnastics Australia has given cheerleader troupes until
the end of the year to find new uniforms.
The body says current revealing costumes make other teenagers feel uncomfortable about
their weight.
The paper says the move is angering cheerleading squads .. who believe this is against
the wishes of crowds who attend sporting events.
